Oops! Released that too quickly! Made a couple of errors in the first release. They are all now fixed in the download and for online reading. You got the updated version if it says "Version 2" on the credits page. You may need to refresh your web browser to see the new version if you have already read the chapter. Also... Dit did a great job of cleaning the poster even further. So that's included in the release as well! Nice job! I stink at cleaning color pages... so... but Dit isn't!
Can you believe it's been a month already? And well, here's a new Shaman King Flowers Chapter for you to enjoy! I got some great theories on what will happen for the rest of the series. I'll get around to putting that up soon. Dit thinks I might be onto something. I think so too.
Also, just in case you were wondering, yes, we will still finish up Remix Track 16. Everytime I look at the last 3 pages... I just lose my motivation to work on them. They just require so much cleaning... that I just can't pull myself to finish it. But I will. Somehow I got this chapter done, and that looks pretty good to me! Need that motivation to power through!

that was a pretty hardcore battle :P nice to see him going for long chapter lengths instead of the usual 20 pages manga writers throw out (then again he doesn't have to write a chapter every week).
kudos for the massive coloured page at the end, the feint lines are nothing compared to how well the image came cross (love the colours) great job (as always) :)

I have a very slight hunch who gave the earrings. Idk. It seems very impossible and all. But remember in chapter 300 of kzb? When Yoh and Anna returned and it was the first time Hana saw them? If you try to look at Yoh's attire (I checked, it was page 25) one of Hao's earrings were dangling on his pants' waistband.
Anyway, just a hunch. Great chapter!!!

Just wanted to thank you guys for this, I found out about Flowers just at the right time, after I just decided to revisit the Shaman King manga.. so that.
Also, off-topic question, I couldn't find any information anywhere about the newer Jumbor series, and wanted to know how many chapters are already out, is it continuing, where can I find it/ are you going to keep working on that?

Jumbor is at like 20-ish chapters. And it's monthly, just like SKF. And... alot of people in Japan say it's "really good."
We plan on restarting scanlating that in the next few months. 40 page chapters (the standard for monthly series) tend to take a little longer to do, and we got to work out our release schedule with that and Shaman King Flowers.
But look forward to those releases once they are ready!

Well, once we get more caught up, I'm sure there will be more posted on Patch Cafe about Jumbor. Since... right now, there is only a handful of people who would actually know what I'm talking about if I started talking about the most recent chapters in Japan. There is ALOT of new stuff in between.

hehehe well thanks anyways, now i have a SK wallpaper that actually fits my monitor and looks cool (love colourful wallpapers). as for the umbrella guy, for someone that acted all hardcore and super sophisticated he went down quick, which put a massive grin on my face b/c i was partly expecting a cool fight but knew something funny would arise from the situation.
also RYU MADE AN APPEARANCE F*** YEAH !!! i hope he's in future chapters and that he still has his 'i'm cool, whatever' attitude :D

but he hasn't been that present (unlike the original series), that's what i hope takei does with him - make him the returning character from the original series that hangs around and helps out every now and then whilst still being him (if that makes sense).

I'm a little frustrated with Yoh continuing the cycle of abandonment, whatever his reasoning. I'm certain he "mautred enough" to understand why his father did it to him, and, also felt for whatever reason he was doing something really important and had to leave his son. Regardless, he spent his whole life dealing with that choice his father made, and, continued the cycle.
I get that he gave his son his headphones (which is "so symbolic"), and that he gave him fustu-no-mitama-no-tsurugi, and most of all Amidamaru, but, it's pathetic. Especially for someone who values their human connections more than anyone else.
If this is a main plot point, I feel this is a weakness of the series -- there is no good reason for abandonment, and any justifications that we as a group come up with, is bogus based on a bias towards Yoh (he's actually my favorite character in all of anime).
I figure Yoh could have come up with a better solution than "I'll abandon my kid to solve x problem".

KZB Extras are on hold until I have a not-shitty scanner. Mine is pretty much dying now/somehow doesn't like Windows 7, so I need to get a new one. Andy and I are working on getting the best one, so we should have that soon.
It's been 6 or 7 years since I got this scanner. I think it's time to let go.
